2cans(15 oz each) navy beans or cannellini beansdrained and rinsed

Instructions
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Sauté Aromatics:
In a pot over medium heat, add a splash of oil (or a bit of water for oil-free). Sauté the chopped onion for 4–5 minutes or until translucent.
Add the minced garlic and smoked paprika, cook 1–2 more minutes until fragrant.
Combine Ingredients:
To the pot with the onions and garlic mixture, add ketchup, maple syrup, coconut aminos, tamari, apple cider vinegar, yellow mustard, water, salt, pepper, and hot sauce (optional).
Stir constantly for about a minute, then add in the drained and rinsed beans.
Bake:
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish (8x8 or similar).
Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
Cook:
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
Finish:
Remove from the oven, uncover, and give everything a good stir. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Serve:
Enjoy warm as a side or main dish. Great with toast, roasted veggies, or grain bowls!
