Each morning, as the sun rises, we’re invited to ride with it. To move, breathe, and awaken our inner light within. The Surya Namaskar is a sacred dance of gratitude to the sun, and when we weave in the Solar Bija mantras, every breath and movement becomes a prayer. The ancient sounds connect us to the source of life, grounding our bodies while expanding our hearts.
I studied this in my 300-hour YTT in Peru recently. Each asana also corresponds with a specific cakra. Once you get the bija sounds down, you can start to move your prana (attention) to the cakra, sending the vibration and focus to this part of your body. I have listed more information below, as well as corresponding photos!
